When does Forza Horizon 6 come out?

Forza Horizon 6 releases on May 19, 2026. The launch date applies to Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, Cloud Gaming, and Game Pass (Console + PC + Ultimate). The day-one Game Pass inclusion is the same model Playground Games used for Forza Horizon 5, so subscribers do not pay extra for the base game on launch.

Early access usually opens for Premium edition buyers a few days before the public release. Forza has not yet published the exact Premium early-access window for FH6, but the historical pattern is four days earlier than the standard release.

How does this compare to past Forza Horizon launches?

Forza Horizon launches have moved on a roughly two-to-three-year cadence: FH4 (2018, UK), FH5 (2021, Mexico), FH6 (May 19, 2026, Japan). The day-one car count has grown each generation: FH4 launched with about 450 cars, FH5 launched with about 500, and FH6 is targeted at 550+. The roster is still being revealed in waves leading up to launch, which is why our leak tracker compares the official-source count, the 550 launch number, and the community-maintained 577-car unofficial list.
